Chayal el Chayal provides a surrogate family and support structure for chayolim bod’dim (lone soldiers from abroad). By providing physical and spiritual nourishment through Seudos Shabbos v’ Yom Tov and Farbrengens, otherwise isolated soldiers at risk of losing touch with their values and goals, remain focused and warmly connected.

Tefillin on Yom Ha'Atzmaut (followed with a bonfire)
We went to the Lone soldier barbeque, arranged by the Lone Soldier Center and we got around 30 soldiers to put on tefillin.
Later on that night we made a bonfire and sat around singing Nigunim. (Chasidic songs)
